Twelve Asia-Pacific countries are now participating in negotiations over the Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement (TPP), that if completed will be the largest Free Trade Agreement in the world. The parts of the agreement that have been leaked to the public have also been criticised, particularly changes to intellectual property rights and patent law that benefit large corporations rather than consumers.
